ROTATES at the Sweet Potato Festival of Aljezur (Portugal)

ROTATES was showcased at the Festival da Batata-Doce de Aljezur, an annual fair dedicated to promoting the IGP-certified regional sweet potato, bringing together farmers, advisors, consumers and public authorities from across Portugal.

During the three-day event, our partner @INIAV presented a poster entitled “The use of roots and tubers in the context of agricultural biodiversity and ecosystem services”, raising awareness about ROTATES and exploring opportunities for new collaborations.

The festival welcomed over 500 visitors, including certified producers, technical advisors and consumers, it also featured a vibrant food programme, with chefs presenting innovative recipes based on sweet potato and other regional products.
