Pilot Living Lab 1 – Cyprus

The Cyprus pLL is led by the Agricultural Microbiology and Biotechnology Laboratory (AMBL), a research group within the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science at the Cyprus University of Technology. The team brings together research across agricultural microbiology, covering the entire agrifood chain “from farm to fork.” Their work explores microbial biodiversity and ecology in agrifood ecosystems using technologies ranging from satellite imaging to microbiome analysis and microbial inocula development. AMBL has extensive experience in knowledge transfer and communication, working with schools, farmers, and professionals, and implemented one of the first virtual Living Labs in Cyprus for the agricultural sector.
