The Madeira Pilot Living Lab organization is constituted by combining scientific expertise with regional agricultural knowledge, through the participation of the ISOPlexis Centre, part of the University of Madeira, to develop practical solutions that support climate adaptation, food security, and sustainable production; and ACOESTE, an association dedicated to economic and social development, with representation of local interests, promoting cooperation between municipalities, companies and institutions. The pLL-Madeira will also be constituted by a partnership with Funchal City Hall living lab and with the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development, with the technical support, dissemination, and engagement of the evolved community.
