Pilot Living Lab 3 – Portugal

The pLL operates in the rural Oeste region of Portugal within an agricultural Living Lab setting that brings together farmers, researchers from INIAV, and the FRUTACLASS producers’ organization. It works with farms cultivating organic sweet potatoes. Technical and research infrastructure is provided through FRUTACLASS and INIAV, including laboratories, greenhouses, and nursery facilities. The region also hosts additional agricultural activities, such as year‑round strawberry production.
